I don't know if you are still interested on it but anyway I'm opening the thread. It looks like this year is going to be a funny contest

Spain chose the song last saturday and finally we have a freak song Here is the winner:

Can someone teel me why we are already qualified for the final like Spain and the UK though we had a poor result last year ?
wonder why cause these three often send the "worst" songs at the eurovision while most countries are only qualified for the semis

uk, germany, france and spain are eurovision founders and they have that privilege to go directly to the final.

Yeah, ridiculous is the right word the guy is an actor from a late-night show in a spanish TV. They started it as a joke and they have finally won

The serbian song isn't that bad but I'm a bit disappointed to see the countries aren't following the current flow of sending ridiculous and funny songs

They have modified the spanish song a bit now it's longer and they have included some lines in english, and they have changed the line about Hugo Chávez But of course it's still ridiculous

I like Holland, Island, Spain, France and Slovenia (but Slovenia is out too).
I can certainly say that Serbian song is amongst the worst - As Jimmy would put it " A secret code for Kosovo"

Eastern or northern countries are annoying
they keep voting for their neighbours
Wonder why western countries keep doing it

Russia was not great imo ... there were better songs
And for Grece and Ukraine ... wonder why they got so many points , it was certainly not because of their song

The western countries are in deeeenail, i liked that song with the guy that hid inside a laundry basket. Spain was funny.
