Possible scenario granted Amelie go past the first two rounds against unseeded players.

3rd rnd. – VS Patty Schnyder
4th rnd. – VS Jalena Jankovic
Quarter – VS Nicole Vaidisova or Serena Williams
Semi (pepto supply honey ) – VS Justine Henin

Sharapova and Davenport could possibly meet as early as 2nd round.
Whoever wins should have an easier 3rd round before meeting either Peer or Dementieva.
Justine’s challenge should start around 3rd rnd with possibly Schiavonne,
4th against Golovin then quarter could be anyone between Peer, Dementieva, Davenport or Sharapova.

The other half of the draw is weaker but I think there are some to watch out for matches.
Possible upsets from some of the young up and coming players -

Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland VS Kuznetsova. 3rd rnd.
(Agnieska was Sharapova’s conqueror at the USO)

Agnes Szavay of Hungary VS Petrova. 3rd rnd.

Lucie Safarova of CZE VS Hantuchova. 3rd rnd.
(we all know who Lucie conquered at last year’s AO and FO)

Li Na of China VS Marion Bartoli
